My grandpa is at the begging stage of Alzheimers how will my life be.
I know he won’t remember me and all, but how do I deal with it. I will probably run away in tears hearing him say “Who are you?” or “Do I know you?” How will I be able to deal…?

Spend as much time as possible with him. Enjoy every time he remembers something. Cheer him on.

There are many stages of Alzheimer’s disease. My mother has it too. She has had it for about three years now. She still knows me. She knows her granddaughter, and even still asks about the great grand kids. I think some people get a more severe case than others. I don’t know how long my mom will hold out, but I know I will always visit her, love her, talk about the good times, and I will definitely cherish all the days that I have left with her. I hope you have the strength to do the same. God be with you.
