They tend to have massive mood swings and can be dangerous--leaving the gas on, going for a walk in the middle of the night leaving the front door wide open, attempting to drive, etc. It's the most exhausting work in the world and has dangers for the patient, you, and anyone around if the patient is not correctly supervised. Plus you'll find that when you do that "in home care" you'll get stuck with EXTRA hours with little or no notice. Can't be done. The alzheimer society nearest you are in the alzheimer society nearest you able to get up in the alz society so do yourself favour and too risky for the alzheimer society nearest you and this lady by helping to work for.
