Rainbow asked:

My father has been in a nursing home for 1 year and he’s still not at peace. He misses the family very much, even though we go see him every night. Due to his frustration, he must take a new medication (he’s otherwise very healthy) called Seroquel, 50 mg per day. I’ve read that this medication can cause death in patients with dementia. I’m really scared now, but the staff must give him something to control his agitation. Any thoughts?

Pellet Stove Comparisons

My grandma lives in another state with my grandpa.

I’m really worried about my mom. My grandma and her are best friends. And being miles away, she feels helpless. My grandma has already had 3 really bad dementia episodes.

I’m not sure how to react to her when things get worse. I read that she could develop severe irritability, mood swings, and a lot more.
