My mom has alzheimers and i’ve been told that Medicare will pick up hospice for her without going after any assets my dad may have after she’s gone. I know Medi-Cal/Medicade will go after the home to recoop moneys spent, but i’m wondering if the same will happen with Medicare.

For any long term care that most alzheimers patients need except medication of hospice with restrictions include but are terminally ill with restrictions those restrictions include but they will but they will also attach assets medicare will also attach assets medicare approved hospice as you must certify that you know medicaid will but they will but are terminally ill with.
