My friend is getting married this summer and though she would have really liked to dance with her father at her wedding she can’t because he is in the advanced stages of Alzeimer’s. She really loves him and wants to involve him in the wedding. Any ideas?

Hmmm…..I guess it depends on how progressed he is by then. If you are talking about this COMING summer (2008)—if he can’t do the father-daughter dance now, he’s certainly not going to be able to walk her down the aisle in 9 months. Right?
I actually have seen a bride ride down the aisle on one of those motorized carts on the father’s lap. It was really cute and the bride got to sit on her father’s lap just one more time.
