can she locate her keys, that's fine if she can remember she is looking for keys,we all lose them occasionally. Can she know the keys if she were to locate them.It may be a spoon to her,non recognition and no cognitive awareness that they are keys is worriesome of onset of alzheimers.Get a referral to a geriatician for assessment and diagnosis.CT scans reveal fatty plaques around the brain signifying that the brain function is disturbed and requires intervention asap.
